Known as: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose, Methoxyhydroxypropylcellulose 
A semisynthetic, inert, viscoelastic polymer. It is used as an ophthalmic lubricant and as an excipient in oral medications.
