Biology, Computer Science
Single-cell sequencing of precisely staged embryos are used and DistMap, a computational mapping strategy to reconstruct the embryo and to predict spatial gene expression approaching single-cell resolution are devised, resulting in a virtual embryo with about 8000 expressed genes per cell.

Medicine
It is shown that the G155A substitution dominates the catalytic behavior of DMA*0103/DMB*0101 by decreasing peptide release velocity, and this effect leads to a greater persistence of autoimmunity-related Ags in the presence of high-affinity competitor peptide.

It is shown that this effect leads to a greater persistence of autoimmunity-related Ags in the presence of high-affinity competitor peptide, and the study reveals that HLA-DM polymorphic residues have a considerable impact on Hla-DM catalytic activity.
