Evidence of Functional Modulation of the MEKK/JNK/cJun Signaling Cascade by the Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor-related Protein (LRP)*
It is demonstrated that sIgG-LRP protein sequesters activated JNK into the plasma membrane compartment in intact cells, inhibiting nuclear activation of the JNK-dependent transcription factors Elk-1 and cJun.
EGFR and Cortactin: Markers for potential double target therapy in oral squamous cell carcinoma
- O. BissingerA. Kolk C. Götz
- 18 September 2017
Medicine
Efficient dual-target therapy may act as an appropriate therapy to improve survival time for patients at advanced OSCC tumor stages and identification of predictive biomarkers for adjuvant therapies are of primary concern in OSCC.
7,8-Dihydroneopterin induces apoptosis of Jurkat T-lymphocytes via a Bcl-2-sensitive pathway.
- C. EnzingerB. Wirleitner G. Baier‐Bitterlich
- 1 April 2002
Biology, Medicine
Results suggest that 7,8-dihydroneopterin-induced apoptosis of T-lymphocytes is mediated by a Bcl-2-sensitive pathway.

Neopterin and 7,8-Dihydroneopterin-Induced Signal Transduction Cascades in Cell Lines
- C. EnzingerB. Wirleitner D. Fuchs
- 2002
Medicine, Biology
Evidence is presented that neopterin and its reduced forms have impact on redox-regulated processes and involvement of oxidative stress in the pteridine-mediated apoptosis is found in several cell lines, but signalling pathways activated in this cascade remain unclear.
