เรอง “ขอไดไหวรบ: ไอไข วดเจดย” ศกษาความเชอความศรทธาตอไอไข วดเจดยอำเภอสชล จงหวดนครศรธรรมราช มวตถประสงคเพอศกษาประวตความเปนมาของไอไขวดเจดย และเพอวเคราะหความเชอเรองการบนบาน การแกบน และผลจากการบนบานตอไอไข วดเจดย ตำบลฉลอง อำเภอสชล จงหวดนครศรธรรมราช โดยใชระเบยบวจยเชงคณภาพ และเชงปรมาณ โดยผศกษาใชขอมลจากเอกสาร และภาคสนาม โดยคนจากบทความวชาการ และสมภาษณนกวชาการทองถน รวมถงบคคลทอยรายรอบวดเจดย ผลการศกษาพบวา ประวตและตำนาน “ไอไข วดเจดย” มการกลาวถงหลายรปแบบไมวาจะเปนบทความในหนงสอ หนงสอพมพ รายการโทรทศน บทเพลง และการเลาลอกนแบบปากตอปาก หลายตำนานทมเคาโครงคลายกน ตางกนเพยงรายละเอยดปลกยอยนอกจากประวต ตำนาน เรองราวความเปนมาของ ไอไข วดเจดย แลว ยงมประวตในสวนของความเชอมนรปเคารพไอไข ทเชอวา เปนวญญาณศกดสทธ โดยมการสรางเครองบชาแทนตวตน ไอไข เพอเปนเครองเคารพแกประชาชนผศรทธา การศกษาเรองของการบนบาน และการแกบน ตอไอไข วดเจดย ผศกษาแบงเนอหาเปน 2 ประเดน คอ 1) การบนบานตอไอไข วดเจดย (ไดขอมลจาการสมภาษณเรองการรบทราบขาวการบนบาน) พบวามาจาก 3 แหลง คอ การบอกตอ อาศยอยในละแวกวดและผานสอ ชองทางอเลกทรอนกส จำนวนครงของการบนบานพบวามตงแต 1-5 ครงขนไป2) การแกบนตอไอไข วดเจดย พบวา ชวงวนและเวลาขนอยกบความนยมและการถอฤกษยามเรองของการแกบนพบวาม 5 เรอง ไดแก การงานและการศกษา ความปลอดภย โชคลาภความรก และของหายไดคน สวนพธกรรมการแกบน แบงออกเปน 2 วธ คอ การบชา และ การแกบน สงของทใชในการแกบนแบงออกเปน 7 ประเภท ไดแก รปปนไก รปปนอาชพตาง ๆ รปปนสตวใหญ ชดทหาร หนงสตก ของเดกเลน ประทดไขตม นำแดง และศลปะการแสดง Sacred Temple Boy: Aikai Wat Jedi The objective of this study is to study the belief of Aikai Wat Jedi, a temple boy of Jedi temple in Sichon District of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The author aimed to study the history and the myth of Aikai Wat Jedi, to analyze the beliefs of the pledge, the offering repays and the results of the pledge toward to Aikai Wat Jedi of Chalong Sub-district, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. This study is the qualitative and quantitative research. The academic papers and field work data were collected. The field work data obtained through the interviews of the local scholars and the people living around the temple. The results of the study found that the history and the myth of Aikai Wat Jedi were mentioned in various ways such as in the newspapers, televisions, songs, and the hearsays. Many myths had the similar plot and different in the specific details. Furthermore, this study also found the belief of the Aikai’s cult image. People believed that the sacred spirit of Aikai could protect and give luck to the people. The various kinds of cult image of Aikai were created to worship. For the pledge and the offering repays toward Aikai Wat Jedi, the author divided the contents into 2 topics: 1) the pledge toward Aikai Wat Jedi (the data collected from the interviews in the topic of the Acknowledgment of the Pledge toward Aikai Wat Jedi) came from the hearsays of the people living around the temple and from the social and electronic medias. The frequency to make the pledge of the people were 1 – 5 times 2) the offering repays toward Aikai Wat Jedi were made after they get the fulfillment from their aspiration of the successfulness in their work and study, of being safe from the journey or other, of the fortune, of the lucky in love and of getting back lost things. The period or timing for offering repays was up to the favor of those who made the pledge and up to the auspicious time. The rituals of offering repays to Aikai Wat Jedi were divided into 2 methods which were the worship and the votive offering. There were 7 kinds of the votive offering of the pledge were found which are the sculpture of chicken and other big animals, kids’ military uniform, slingshots, toys, firecracker, boiled eggs, strawberry syrup soda and the performances.
