The results obtained in this study shown that there still exist a variety of OCPs residues in Taihu Lake and Meiliang Bay, depicting that the sediments have been contaminated historically.

Distribution and ecological risk assessment of organochlorine pesticides in surface sediments from the East Lake, China

Most sampling sites of HCHs and DDTs were found to have the potential ecological risk based on levels specified in the sediment quality standards, and composition analyses indicated that DDTs and endosulfan were mainly from historical contribution.

Sedimentary records of historical occurrence and sources of 21 organochlorine pesticides in Lake Taihu, China

Purpose Sediments are natural archives to record the occurrence and sources of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs). Most previous studies on historical occurrence and sources of OCPs in China only

Spatial occurrence and sources of PAHs in sediments drive the ecological and health risk of Taihu Lake in China

To study the spatial occurrence, sources, and ecological risks of 16 PAHs, surface sediments had been collected from seven major areas of Taihu Lake, China in April 2021. Results showed that the

Spatial Occurrence and Sources of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Sediments Drive the Ecological Risk of Taihu Lake, China

To study the spatial occurrence, sources, and ecological risks of 16 PAHs, surface sediments had been collected from seven major areas of Taihu Lake, China in April 2021. Results showed that the

[Spatial and temporal distribution of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in surface water from the Pearl River Artery estuary].

The spatial and temporal distribution of OCPs suggested that there were significant differences of O CPs between the East River (Dongjiang) network and Guangzhou channel and the nonpoint-source pollution was found in the Pearl River Artery estuary, particularly in high flow season.

Organochlorine pesticide residues in water and sediments from the Ovens and King Rivers, North-East Victoria, Australia

Water and sediment samples were taken from five sites on the Ovens and King Rivers (Australia) and analyzed for organochlorine pesticides residues. Residue concentrations were also determined in

Organochlorine pesticide residue concentrations in biota and sediments from Río Palizada, Mexico

Factors Influencing the Distribution of Lindane and Other Hexachlorocyclohexanes in the Environment

This review examines the potential for γ-hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH) to be transformed into other isomers of HCH. HCH residues are among the most widely distributed and frequently detected
