A simple and rapid HPLC procedure is described for the assay of ibuprofen in bulk drug and tablets and for dosage uniformity testing, which compared favorably with those obtained using the USP procedures.

Determination of ibuprofen in ointments by reversed-phase liquid chromatography.

The analysis of ibuprofen degeneration products showed that the method also provides an indication of the stability of the drug.

Validated HPTLC Method of Analysis of Dexibuprofen in its Formulation

A simple, sensitive, precise, and rapid high-performance thin-layer chromatographic (HPTLC) method for analysis of dexibuprofen in pharmaceutical formulation has been developed and validated and has been successfully applied to analysis of an oral solid dosage formulation.

Determination of Paracetamol and Ibuprofen in Tablets and Urine Using Spectrofluorimetric Determination Coupled with Chemometric Tools

The proposed methodology showed effectiveness and offered excellent results in the determination of Paracetamol and Ibuprofen in tablets and biological fluids coupled with chemometrics.

Recent Advances in HPLC Analysis of Analgesics

This review will focus on applications of HPLC to the analysis of commercial analgesics in this time period with emphasis on novel developments and applications associated with the improved accuracy, sensitivity and specificity in current LC systems.

RP-HPLC Method for Determination of Several NSAIDs and Their Combination Drugs

The prediction profiler correlating various parameters and responses was established from the results of design of experiments (DOE) and full factorial experimental design was used for the testing of robustness of the RP-HPLC method.

Voltammetric determination of ibuprofen using a carbon paste – multiwalled carbon nanotube composite electrode

ABSTRACT An optimized voltammetric method is reported for the quantification of ibuprofen in aqueous solution using a carbon paste–multiwalled carbon nanotube composite as the working electrode. The

Feasibility studies in spheronization and scale-up of ibuprofen microparticulates using the rotor disk fluid-bed technology

Ibuprofen spheres with very good physical characteristics were developed using the rotor disk fluid-bed technology, a 1-step closed process that did not require additional unit processes, and to scale up the batch spheronization process.

High-pressure liquid chromatographic identification of drugs used in management of arthritis.

A screening procedure was developed for the identification of drugs used in the clinical treatment of arthritis. Each glucocorticoid, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent, or tranquilizer was

Section 3 Ibuprofen in the treatment of rheumatic diseases : long-term experience with observations on lack of adverse effects

The clinical response was rated as good or very good in this selected ‘hard-to-treat’ group, and 74 % of the patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis considered it to be superior to previous medication and better tolerated.

THE UNITED STATES PHARMACOPEIA.

The Pharmacopeia was called into being by physicians in 1820, and in 1850 pharmacists were admitted to the convention; since then physicians have gradually relinquished control to pharmacists, and to-day the authors are confronted with an anomalous condition.
