A cryptanalysis of a H.264/AVC video authentication scheme proposed by Saadi et al. is presented, showing that an attacker can modify the watermark video and compute a valid watermark such that the recipient will retrieve a watermark from the modified watermarked video that will match what the recipient computes during video authentication check.

Analysis framework for H.264/AVC authentication

This work presents an attack strategy based analysis framework which applies to watermarking based authentication schemes and analyzes the security of two schemes against modification attacks, i.e. the watermarked video can be modified such that it still passes the recipient's video authentication check.

On Security of Content-Based Video Stream Authentication

This paper surveys and classify existing transform-domain CBA schemes for videos into two categories, and points out that in contrary to CBA for images, there exists a common design flaw in these schemes.

How watermarking secures e-learning system

This paper proposed two watermarking methods to provide authentication and copyright protection on e-learning content to avoid of any tampering or changes on contents.

Combined fragile watermark and digital signature for H.264/AVC video authentication

Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking technique can not only achieve the goal of fragility but also verify the authenticity and the integrity of the video.

Video authentication for H.264/AVC using digital signature standard and secure hash algorithm

This paper proposes a hard video authentication and sender verification scheme for video sequences compressed using H.264/AVC Main Profile by using digital signatures and cryptographic hash and demonstrates that the proposed scheme is highly robust to temporal and spatial manipulations.

Efficient pre-processing watermark for robust video watermarking of H.264/AVC

The experimental results prove the capability to embed the watermark in short video sequences and the effectiveness of the algorithm against some attacks such as re-compression by the H.264 codec, transcoding, and some common processing.

Efficient Video Authentication for H.264/AVC

A novel and efficient scheme to authenticate the H.264/AVC video standard, which makes an accurate usage of the tree-structured motion compensation, motion estimation and Lagrangian optimization of the standard.
