- S. KuemmelJ. Heil M. Reinisch
- 4 November 2020
Medicine
The SenTa study demonstrates the feasibility of TAD in a real-world cohort of BC patients and is of great importance for de-escalation of surgical strategies.

Medicine
The Working Group for Reconstructive Surgery in Oncology-Gynecology (AWOgyn) has undertaken to analyze different materials with regard to indications, success rates and side effects as documented in registers, clinical assessments and study protocols and is expected to improve application safety even further in future.
Prospective, multicenter registry trial to evaluate the clinical feasibility of targeted axillary dissection (TAD) in patients (pts) with breast cancer (BC) and core biopsy proven axillary…
- M. ReinischJ. Heil S. Kuemmel
- 1 October 2019
Medicine
A high DR was demonstrated supporting the feasibility of clip placement in positive axillary LNs followed by NACT and TAD in BC patients, however, the FNR of TAD was higher than reported earlier (FNR = 2.0%, Caudle et al.) and should be discussed.
