상호작용 증강현실 인터페이스는 실세계에 가상 정보를 혼합하여 사용자의 인식을 증강시킬 수 있으며 사용자에게 실세계에서 이용되는 오브제를 가상 게임에 그대로 제공함으로써 현실과 가상 환경을 자연스럽게 연계할 수 있다. 우리는 실생활과 가상 게임 환경과의 이음새 없는 환경을 위해 TCG(Trading Card Game; 이하 TCG로 약칭) 게임에 실제 카드를 적용하는 방안을 연구하였다. 스마트 폰 카메라를 통해 인식된 카드를 가상의 TCG 게임 인터페이스로 사용한다. 기존 연구에 비해 보다 빠르고 스케일, 방향, 포즈, 회전에 무관하게 실 카드를 인식하기 위해 2 단계 이미지 키포인트 추출/매칭 방법(Two Phases Image eyPoint Extraction/Matching Method)을 스마트폰 환경에서 개발하고 이것을 가상 TCG 게임 시스템에 실험적으로 적용하였다. 이와 같은 창의적인 시도는 현실과 가상 환경을 자연스럽게 연결하여 게임에의 몰입감과 현실감을 배가시킬 것이다. 【Current virtual game interfaces cannot comprehend our metaphor, cannot reflect on our natural behavior aspect, cannot make us immerse into a game, and makes a barrier between virtual game space and our real behavior. It is very meaningful issue to use real objects tightly related to human-being's behaviors or reactions for interacting with game applications. Interactive Augmented Reality interfaces may augment users' perception of the real world by adding virtual information to it. We attempted an experiment on camera-based non-marker interface for online TCG application. This experiment uses real TCG cards which are recognized by our two phases Image KeyPoint Extraction/Matching Algorithm.
