An analysis is made for transient Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of two immiscible fluids thorough a horizontal channel. The flow above the interface is assumed to be electrically conducting while the other fluid and the channel walls are assumed to be electrically insulating. The partial differential equations governing the flow are solved analytically using two-term periodic and non-periodic functions in both the regions of the channels. Velocity profiles are analyzed for various physical…

An unsteady electro-magnetohydrodynamic two-liquid plasma flow along a channel of insulating porous plates with Hall currents

Couette Flow of Two Immiscible Dusty Fluids between Two Parallel Plates with Heat Transfer

In this paper, the couette flow of two viscous, incompressible, immiscible, electrically conducting dusty fluids between two infinite parallel plates is investigated. The fluids are considered to

Hall and rotation effects on magnetohydrodynamics two fluids slip flow of ionized gases via parallel conduit

In a rotational model, the Hall effect on two‐liquid magnetohydrodynamics plasma flows of ionized gases between two nonconducting horizontal channel plates in a slip regime is researched. The

MHD Two-Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer between Two Inclined Parallel Plates in a Rotating System

Two-phase magnetohydrodynamic convective flow of electrically conducting fluid through an inclined channel is studied under the action of a constant transverse magnetic field in a rotating system and it is observed that the effect of increasing rotation is to decrease the primary velocity.

MHD Two-Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer between Two Inclined Parallel Plates in a Rotating System.

Two-phase magnetohydrodynamic convective flow of electrically conducting fluid through an inclined channel is studied under the action of a constant transverse magnetic field in a rotating system.

Unsteady MHD Free Convective Three Phase Flow Through Porous Medium Sandwiched Between Viscous Fluids

In this paper, the unsteady MHD free convective flow through porous medium sandwiched between electrically conducting viscous-incompressible fluids in a horizontal channel with heat and mass

Effect of Hall Currents on the EMHD Two-Layered Plasma Heat Transfer Flow Via a Channel of Porous Plates

The temperature distribution caused by a magnetohydrodynamic two-layered liquid flow of ionized gases through a channel bounded by porous insulating plates with Hall currents is investigated. The

Convective magnetohydrodynamic two fluid flow and heat transfer in an inclined channel

Abstract The problem of fully developed free convection two fluid magnetohydrodynamic flow in an inclined channel is investigated. The governing momentum and energy equations are coupled and highly

OSCILLATORY HARTMANN TWO-FLUID FLOW AND HEAT TRANSFER IN A HORIZONTAL CHANNEL

An unsteady Hartmann flow of two immiscible fluids through a horizontal channel with time-dependent oscillatory wall transpiration velocity is investigated. One of the fluids is assumed to be

Unsteady two-fluid flow and heat transfer in a horizontal channel

The problem of unsteady oscillatory flow and heat transfer of two viscous immiscible fluids through a horizontal channel with isothermal permeable walls has been considered. The partial differential

Stratified laminar flow of two immiscible fluids

Abstract We consider the steady co-current flow of two immiscible viscous liquids in a horizontal pipe, the fluid interface being ripple-free and plane. It is shown that if the cross-section of the

Magnetohydrodynamic heat transfer in two-phase flow between parallel plates

This study dealt with two-phase magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow and heat transfer in a parallel-plate channel. Both phases were incompressible and the flow was assumed to be steady, one-dimensional

Unsteady Oscillatory Flow and Heat Transfer in a Horizontal Composite Porous Medium Channel

The problem of unsteady oscillatory flow and heat transfer in a horizontal composite porous medium is performed. The flow is modeled usi ng the Darcy-Brinkman equation. The viscous and Darcian

Convective Flow and Heat Transfer in an Inclined Composite Porous Medium

An anallttical study of non-Darcian convective flow and heat transfer in an inclined composite porous medium is performed. The JIow is modeled using the Darcy* Lapwood-Brinkman equation. The viscous
