Dual-Purpose Water Buffalo Production Systems in Tropical Latin America: Bases for a Sustainable Model

The basis for designing intensive rotational grazing models and, under certain silvopastoral conditions, taking advantage of the gregarious behavior of buffaloes are proposed, which could increase the productive and regenerative capacities of the dual-purpose system and the quality of meat and milk could be marketed as differentiated products, taken advantage of their outstanding nutritional qualities.

The process of agroecological conversion starts from the state in which the production system is, and the capacity of the human capital available to act in directing the redesign and management of

Digging deeper: A holistic perspective of factors affecting soil organic carbon sequestration in agroecosystems

This review is a collation and synthesis of articles published in peer-reviewed journals and estimates of the historic depletion of SOC in world soils, 115-154 Pg C and equivalent to the technical potential or the maximum soil C sink capacity, need to be improved.
