The field survey of more than 20 years found that 475 bird species were distributed in the Qinling and Dabashan Mountains in Shaanxi Province.Most of them belong to resident birds,summer migrant birds and passing migrant birds.Among these 475 species,34 species belong to the endemic species of China,9 species and 55 species belong to the first and second class key state-protected wildlife in China respectively.Meanwhile,28 species are listed in the "China Red Data Book of Endangered Animals… 

The field survey of more than 20 years found that 475 bird species were distributed in the Qinling and Dabashan Mountains in Shaanxi Province.Most of them belong to resident birds,summer migrant birds and passing migrant birds.Among these 475 species,34 species belong to the endemic species of China,9 species and 55 species belong to the first and second class key state-protected wildlife in China respectively.Meanwhile,28 species are listed in the "China Red Data Book of Endangered Animals" and 11 species are listed in the "2006 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species".The birds distributed in the nature reserves were 390 species(82.1% of the total).The existence of the reserves is good for the conservation of bird resource in the Qinling and Dabashan Mountains.
