Assessment of the effect of fumigant nematicides in reducing the attack of M. incognita race 1 and M. javanica on the incidence of bacterial wilt on potato genotypes grown in a cerrado clay soil naturally infested with race 1, biovar 1 of R solanacearum indicates that controlling root knot nematodes is not enough to control potatoacterial wilt in cerrados clay soils.
