Carcinogenic effects of aflatoxin B1 among wheat handlers
- 2014
Environmental Science, Medicine
Wheat handlers exposed to Aspergillus flavus have a high risk of elevated serum AFB1/Alb levels and AFU, and there was a significant correlation between AFU and AFB1-Alb in bakers and between AFP and AF1/alb in HCC cases.

Environmental Science, Medicine
Chronic occupational exposure to high concentrations of Aspergillus in workplaces may cause elevations in serum levels of AFB1 and liver enzymes in workers exposed to flour dust, Hence, worker protection measures should be consistently adopted and enforced at the workplace.
