Disease‐Derived Tau Seeds Induce Aggregation and Pathway Disruptions in a Cellular Model
- Tomas KavanaghKaleah Balcomb Eleanor Drummond
- 1 December 2025
Medicine, Biology
A tau seeding model without overexpression is developed, enabling broader studies of tau interactions, toxicity, and therapeutic interventions in any cell‐type.

Medicine, Biology
The up-to-date knowledge of human oligodendrocyte lineage cells and their association with α-synuclein is reviewed, and the postulated mechanisms of how oligod endodendrogliopathy develops are discussed, including the potential origins of the toxic seeds of α- synuclein and the possible networks through which oligod Endodermopathy induces neuronal loss.
