Differences in responses of tree-ring δ13C in angiosperms and gymnosperms to climate change on a global scale
- Xiaozhen LiGuo ChenWenyi QinXiangping WangHaitao LiuPeng Wang
- 15 July 2021
Environmental Science, Biology
The results showed that the δ13Cring values of angiosperms and gymnosperms differed significantly and the observed decreasing trend of corrected δ 13C was not mainly caused by the fertilization effect of atmospheric concentration of CO2 (Ca), and mean annual temperature (MAT) and annual precipitation (PRE) were the most important climatic parameters influencing the changes in angios perms and Gymnosperms, respectively.
Tree-rings δ13C different responses to environmental factors in angiosperms and gymnosperms at global scale
- Xiaozhen LiGuo ChenWenyi QinPeng WangXiangping Wang
- 3 March 2021
Environmental Science, Biology
It is found that atmospheric concentration was not the mainly factor to influence the δ13Cring, and the MAT and PRE were the most important environmental parameters to influencethe decreasing trend of angiosperms and gymnosperms, respectively.
