Known as: adenosine 3',5'-cyclophosphate-dependent protein kinase activity, 3',5'-cAMP-dependent protein kinase activity, PKA 
Catalysis of the reaction: ATP + a protein = ADP + a phosphoprotein. This reaction requires the presence of cAMP. [EC:2.7.11.11]
