PLP1 protein, human

Known as: MMPL protein, human, proteolipid protein 1, human, Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease, spastic paraplegia 2, uncomplicated protein, human
Myelin proteolipid protein (277 aa, ~30 kDa) is encoded by the human PLP1 gene. This protein is involved in the structure of the myelin sheath.
