The technological capabilities of electrolytic-plasma treatment of stainless steel surface are analyzed in this paper. The effect of additives of hydrochloric acid to an aqueous solution of ammonium sulfate in the process parameters and the quality of the plasma electrolytic treatment of austenitic stainless steel 12Cr18Ni10Ti are investigated.
