چکیده زمینه و هدف: فرایند تصمیمگیری درباره دستور عدم احیاء منحصر به فرد است، زیرا تنها تصمیم درمانی است که بایستی از قبل گرفته شود، به طوری که اکثر پزشکان و پرستاران در فرآیند تصمیمگیری در مورد دستور عدم احیا و جنبههای اخلاقی آن نامطمئن میباشند. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی و مقایسه نگرش پزشکان و پرستاران در خصوص دستور عدم احیا برای بیماران در مراحل انتهایی زندگی، اجرا گردید. مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه توصیفی - مقایسهای 152 پزشک و 152 پرستار با روش نمونهگیری طبقهای - سهمیهای مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوری دادهها، پرسشنامه جمعیت شناختی و پرسشنامه نگرش در خصوص دستور عدم احیا بود. یافتهها: پرستاران شرکت کننده در این پژوهش با میانگین 25/3 و پزشکان با میانگین 22/3 به دستور عدم احیا نگرش مثبتی داشتند. بین میانگین نمره نگرش پزشکان و پرستاران در خصوص دستور عدم احیا اختلاف معنیداری وجود نداشت (05/0 .
