This article is about an ideological and political set-to over defining, discussing and organizing around sexuality as lesbians in the mid-80s in Britain. We were both involved in the battle at the London Lesbian and Gay Centre (LLGC) over whether SM (sadomasochism) groups should be able to meet there.
