A robust protocol for perfluoroalkylation and ethoxycarbonyldifluoromethylation of functionalized aromatic triazenes is described. Using silver(I)-fluoride and different fluorinated (trimethyl)silyl substituted species, it was possible to synthesize various ortho-fluorinated triazenes in good yields via simple CH-substitution.
