Datawarehouses can be extremely large and ressource demanding, which is not always affordable in a local environment. Hence, in order to deal with the big amounts of data held in the datawarehouses, Cloud warehousing seems to be the solution. On the other hand, many entreprises use datawarehouses for data analysis and use XML to deal with semi-structured data but also to take advantage of the web environment. Therefore, the idea of combining the two solutions in a parallel environment seems…

A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW IDENTIFIES A LACK OF STANDARDIZATION IN OLAP QUERIES ON CLOUD COMPUTING
TLDR
Considering the importance of standardization in any technology field, which is spurred by several international organizations worldwide, this paper identifies the necessity of works that propose a standardization to guide the building of OLAP query languages on cloud computing.
Study on a storage location strategy based on clustering and association algorithms
TLDR
The improving of a storage location strategy through the use of big data technology, including data collection, cluster analysis and association analysis, to improve order picking efficiency is studied.
An attention mechanism and multi-granularity-based Bi-LSTM model for Chinese Q&A system
TLDR
An attention mechanism and multi-granularity-based Bi-LSTM model (AM–Bi-L STM) is proposed which combines the improved attention mechanism with a novel processing of multi- granularity word segmentation to handle the complex NLP in Chinese Q&A datasets.
X-ETL: A Data-Driven Method for Designing Star Schemas
TLDR
The authors present the set of developed methods that follows the datadriven paradigm, and they propose a new data-driven method called X-ETL, which aims to automating the data warehouse design by generating star models from relational data.

Constructing an OLAP cube from distributed XML data
TLDR
This work proposes an XML language for data collection for OLAP cubes, and has a facility, where the user may pose a query against a "universal" OLAP cube using the MDX language.
Specifying OLAP Cubes on XML Data
TLDR
This paper presents an approach to specification of OLAP DBs based on web data, using Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a basis for so-called UML snowflake diagrams that precisely capture the multidimensional structure of the data.
INTEGRATING XML DATA INTO MULTIPLE ROLAP DATA WAREHOUSE SCHEMAS
TLDR
This paper focuses on integrating XML data based on multiple related XML schemas, to an equivalent data warehouse schemas based on relational online analytical processing (ROLAP) and a new data structure, Schema Graph has been proposed in the process.
Integrating heterogeneous data warehouses using XML technologies
TLDR
This paper formally defines the elements in data warehousing and discusses various semantic conflicts occurring among heterogeneous data cubes, and proposes the system architecture and related resolution procedures for all kinds of semantic conflicts.
XML-OLAP: A Multidimensional Analysis Framework for XML Warehouses
TLDR
A new framework for multidimensional analysis of XML documents, which is based on XML warehouses where every fact data as well as dimension data are stored asxml documents, and a new multiddimensional expression language for XML cubes, which it is called XML-MDX.
Efficient Query Processing for Large XML Data in Distributed Environments
TLDR
An algorithm for relocating partitioned XML data based on the CPU load of query processing and it is found that there is a performance advantage in the approach for executing distributed query processing of large XML data.
Converting XML DTDs to UML diagrams for conceptual data integration
Extensible markup language
TLDR
XML is the lingua franca of the wireless Web and is already being used for a host of server-server communication applications, which make it possible for different data servers to easily exchange information.
