Woven left anterior descending coronary artery imaging with computed tomography

Abstract

Woven coronary is an extremely rare and clearly undefined coronary malformation that can be seen as a filling defect on angiograms. It is characterized by the branching of a major epicardial coronary artery into thin channels that then merge again in a normal conduit [1, 2]. In this case report, we describe a patient with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (non-STEMI) who had severe stenosis of the circumflex coronary artery (Cx) and a woven coronary artery on the left anterior descending artery (LAD).
