The Uganda government through the ministry of health, collaborating with several NGOs and donors has done a commendable job in arresting the medical effects of HIV/AIDS. This has been done through provision of ARVs and treatment of opportunistic infections. As a result, Uganda has enjoyed a lot of international praise for its response to the medical effects of HIV/AIDS.
