A technique which provides quantitative moving 3-dimensional images of the heart requires automation in order to be clinically useful. We describe a method for automatically detecting arterial bifurcations in successive angiogram frames and a proposed automated analysis system utilising this . words: Coronary angiography, 3D reconstruction, tracking, automatic matching .
