Working harder and getting nowhere--no wonder you are stressed!


Spending time in activities consistent with priorities and goals provides greater work satisfaction and reduced stress. The Covey Time Management Matrix provides a framework for organizing daily tasks according to urgency and importance. Important activities contribute to one's goals. Managers must spend some time on the urgent, important aspects of their job. However, those who spend time in the nonurgent activities important to their goals are less stressed.
