[Biosynthesis, fermentation and application of vitamin B12--a review].
TLDR
The basic characteristics, biosynthesis and fermentation of vitamin B12 are reviewed, the main strains used in industry fermentation are Propionibacterium freudenrechii and Pseudomonas denitrificans. Expand
Recent advances in microbial production of δ-aminolevulinic acid and vitamin B12.
TLDR
In this review, recent advances on the production of ALA and vitamin B12 with novel approaches such as whole-cell enzyme-transformation and metabolic engineering are described. Expand
Conjugated systems of porphyrin–carbon nanoallotropes: a review
Porphyrin macromolecules play critical roles in many natural processes. Studies are going on to mimic their role in natural systems and use them in various applications in artificial systems. When aExpand
Efficient ex-situ biosynthesis of vitamin B12 by Propionibacterium freudenreichii using membrane separation coupling technology
Abstract Propionibacterium freudenreichii has been successfully applied to industrial anaerobic production of vitamin B12. In the traditional fed-batch fermentation process, 5,6-dimethylbenzimidazoleExpand
Efficient co‐production of propionic acid and succinic acid by Propionibacterium acidipropionici using membrane separation coupled technology
To improve the fermentation efficiency of Propionibacterium acidipropionici, a semi‐continuous coupled fermentation process was established to achieve co‐production of propionic acid (PA) andExpand
