OBJECTIVE To explore with seniors what influences their choice of medication for osteoarthritis. DESIGN Qualitative study using semistructured in-depth interviews. SETTING Interviews were conducted in patients' homes in two cities in Nova Scotia. PARTICIPANTS Seniors with a physician-confirmed diagnosis of osteoarthritis.
