STUDY OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to evaluate physician manpower and mobilization in an urban emergency department receiving patients after a major earthquake. METHODS Patient charts were reviewed. The workload of physicians was assessed semiquantitatively before and after a major earthquake.
