IntroductionWe investigated the ability of a weekly intra-articular injection of bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)-7 to prevent osteoarthritis in rabbits with anterior cruciate ligament transections.MethodsFirst, 36 knee joints were randomly divided into four groups: 50, 500, 5,000 ng BMP-7, and control.
