This paper presents a button shaped antenna based on a microstrip Yagi array. The proposed antenna is suitable for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) and telemedicine applications operating at 2.45 GHz. Antenna properties, such as far-field radiation patterns, coupling coefficient, measured by the scattering parameter S11, and gain are provided.
