Wear Failure Analysis of Cr-Mn-Cu Alloy White Cast Iron under Dry Sliding at Ambient Temperature

The wear resistance of Cr-Mn-Cu alloy white cast iron after heat treatment was studied and compared with that of as-cast Cr-Mn-Cu alloy white cast iron,the wear failure mechanism and microstructure on the wear end surface and nonwear end surface were analyzed.The results show that under the same wear condition,the wear resistance of Cr-Mn-Cu alloy white cast iron through water cooling and air cooling are 1.11 and 1.20 times bigger than that in as-cast condition.
