A version of the quantum theory of gravity based on the concept of the wave functional of the universe is proposed. To determine the physical wave functional, the quantum principle of least action is formulated as a secular equation for the corresponding action operator. Its solution, the wave functional, is an invariant of general covariant transformations of spacetime. In the new formulation, the history of the evolution of the universe is described in terms of coordinate time together with…

Quantum gravity corrections to the matter dynamics in the presence of a reference fluid
We analyze the effect induced on standard quantum field theory (in functional approach) by quantum gravity corrections to a pure classical background. In the framework of the Kuchař and Torre

QUANTUM THEORY OF GRAVITY. II. THE MANIFESTLY COVARIANT THEORY.
Contrary to the situation which holds for the canonical theory described in the first paper of this series, there exists at present no tractable pure operator language on which to base a manifestly

TLDR
Steven Weinberg is sufficiently uneasy about the use of a quantum mechanical state vector solely as an algorithm for calculating probabilities that he devotes the longest section in the book to a discussion of various attempts to “derive” the Born rule within the framework of quantum mechanics.

Inflation models make specific predictions for a tensor-scalar-scalar three-point correlation, or bispectrum, between one gravitational-wave (tensor) mode and two density- perturbation (scalar)
