ABSTRACT This article reviews the educational approach known as “Waldorf Education” or, alternately, “Anthroposophic Education,” from the perspective of the spiritual outlook on which it is founded. The review first looks at the anthroposophic approach as established by Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925) and which includes the spiritual aspects in Waldorf Education’s principles and foundations.
