In tissue sections, detection of the Wilms tumor susceptibility gene 1 (WTI) protein, the hormonal receptors for estrogen (ER) and progesterone (PR), and gross cystic disease fluid protein (GCDFP) are useful for diagnosing ovarian and breast adenocarcinomas.
