Voxel-based multi-class classification of AD, MCI, and elderly controls

We trained a multi-class support vector machine (SVM) with probabilistic outputs on a large, publicly available sample (n = 1429) of healthy controls, individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), and patients with probable Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The test performance on a small validation set (n = 30) was similar to the cross-validation performance of the training set.
