We investigate the clustering properties of dynamical Dark Energy even in association of a possible coupling between Dark Energy and Dark Matter. We find that within matter inhomogeneities, Dark Energy migth form voids as well as overdensity depending on how its background energy density evolves. Consequently and contrarily to what expected, Dark Energy fluctuations are found to be slightly suppressed if a coupling with Dark Matter is permitted. When considering density contrasts and scales…
Dark Matter–Dark Energy Interaction and the Shape of Cosmic Voids
Interaction between dark matter and dark energy as one of not completely solved problems in cosmology has been studied extensively. This interaction affects the cosmic structures. In this regard, the
The growth of structure in interacting dark energy models
If dark energy interacts with dark matter, there is a change in the background evolution of the universe, since the dark matter density no longer evolves as a−3. In addition, the non-gravitational
Comparison of perturbations in fluid and scalar field models of dark energy
We compare perturbations in a fluid model of dark energy with those in a scalar field. As compared to the {lambda}CDM model, large scale matter power spectrum is suppressed in fluid model as well as

Abstract. The cosmological concordance model contains two separate constituents which interact only gravitationally with themselves and everything else, the dark matter and the dark energy. In the
Growth of spherical overdensities in scalar–tensor cosmologies
The accelerated expansion of the universe is a rather established fact in cosmology and many different models have been proposed as a viable explanation. Many of these models are based on the
Late-time acceleration : interacting dark energy and modified gravity
In 1998 astronomical observations of distant stars exploding at the ends of their lives led to the discovery that the expansion of the Universe is accelerating. This is likely to be caused by an

On the Magnitude of Dark Energy Voids and Overdensities
We investigate the clustering of dark energy within matter overdensities and voids. In particular, we derive an analytical expression for the dark energy density perturbations, which is valid in the
Voids of dark energy
We investigate the clustering properties of a dynamical dark energy component. In a cosmic mix of a pressureless fluid and a light scalar field, we follow the linear evolution of spherical matter
Cluster number counts dependence on dark energy inhomogeneities and coupling to dark matter
Cluster number counts can be used to test dark energy models. We investigate dark energy candidates which are coupled to dark matter. We analyse the cluster number counts dependence on the amount of
Structure formation in inhomogeneous dark energy models
We investigate how inhomogeneous quintessence models may have a specific signature even in the linear regime of large-scale structure formation. The dynamics of the collapse of a dark matter halo is
Dark energy and the evolution of spherical overdensities
We use the non-linear spherical model in cold dark matter (CDM) cosmologies with dark energy to investigate the effects of dark energy on the growth of structure and the formation of virialized
Matter density perturbations in interacting quintessence models
Models with dark energy decaying into dark matter have been proposed to solve the coincidence problem in cosmology. We study the effect of such coupling in the matter power spectrum. Because of the
On virialization with dark energy
We review the inclusion of dark energy in the formalism of spherical collapse, and the virialization of a two-component system, made of matter and dark energy. We compare two approaches in previous
Modeling Dynamical Dark Energy
Cosmological models with different types of dark energy are becoming viable alternatives for standard models with the cosmological constant, yet such models are more difficult to analyze and to
Number counts in homogeneous and inhomogeneous dark energy models
In the simple case of a constant equation of state, redshift distribution of collapsed structures may constrain dark energy models. Different dark energy models having the same energy density today
Numerical study of halo concentrations in dark-energy cosmologies
We study the concentration parameters, their mass dependence and redshift evolution, of dark-matter halos in different dark-energy cosmologies with constant and time-variable equation of state, and
