Real-time Ultrasound (US) image fusion with a pre-acquired second imaging dataset - Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and/or CT/PET - has become widely used in recent years for both diagnosis and image-guided interventional procedures.
