Previously, we proposeda histogram-basedquick signal searchmethodcalledTime-SeriesActiveSearch(TAS).TAS is amethodof searchingthroughlongaudioorvideorecordingsfor aspecifiedsegment,basedonsignalsimilarity. TAS is fast;it cansearchthrougha24-hourrecordingin 1 second afteraquery-independent preprocessing.
