Venom properties of the rattlesnakes (Crotalus) inhabiting the Baja California region of Mexico.


Seven species of rattlesnakes (genus Crotalus) from Baja, Mexico, were investigated for venom yield, protein content, lethal toxicity, 'Mojave toxin' content and hemorrhagic, esterase (BAEE), phosphodiesterase and protease activities.
