We obtain the equation of state (EoS) for two-color QCD at low temperature and high density from the lattice Monte Carlo simulation. We find that the velocity of sound exceeds the relativistic limit ( c 2 s /c 2 = 1 / 3) after BEC-BCS crossover in the superfluid phase. Such an excess of the sound velocity is predicted by several effective theories but is previously unknown from any lattice calculations for QCD-like theories. This finding might have a possible relevance to the EoS of neutron star…

Relativistic quarks in a meson resonance gas: scalar vs vector confinement and semishort range correlations

Smooth transitions from hadronic matter to hot and dense matter of quantum chromodynamics accompany continuous transformations in effective degrees of freedom. The microscopic descriptions should

Impacts of anomaly on nuclear and neutron star equation of state based on a parity doublet model

We examine the role of the U (1) A anomaly in a parity doublet model of nucleons which include the chiral variant and invariant masses. Our model expresses the U (1) A anomaly by the

Two-color QCD at high density

QCD at high chemical potential has interesting properties such as deconfinement of quarks. Two-color QCD, which enables numerical simulations on the lattice, constitutes a laboratory to study QCD at

Equation of state of cold and dense QCD matter in resummed perturbation theory

We discuss the Hard Dense Loop resummation at finite quark mass and evaluate the equation of state (EoS) of cold and dense QCD matter in $\beta$ equilibrium. The resummation in the quark sector has

Dense two-color QCD towards continuum and chiral limits

We study two-color QCD with two flavors of Wilson fermion as a function of quark chemical potential mu and temperature T, for two different lattice spacings and two different quark masses. We find

Study of two color QCD on large lattices

We study two colors lattice QCD (QC 2 D) with two flavors of staggered fermions on 40 4 and 32 4 lattices with lattice spacing a = 0 . 048 fm in the wide range of the quark chemical potential µ q .

Phase structure of QC2D at high temperature and density

We study two-color QCD with two flavors of Wilson fermion as a function of quark chemical potential mu and temperature T. We find evidence of a superfluid phase at intermediate mu and low T where the

Peaks of sound velocity in two color dense QCD: Quark saturation effects and semishort range correlations

We discuss stiffening of dense matter in two color QCD (QC2D) where hadrons are mesons and diquark baryons. We study two models which describe a transition of matter from the

Study of the phase diagram of dense two-color QCD within lattice simulation

In this paper we carry out a low-temperature scan of the phase diagram of dense two-color QCD with $N_f=2$ quarks. The study is conducted using lattice simulation with rooted staggered quarks. At

Towards the phase diagram of dense two-color matter

We study two-color QCD with two flavors of Wilson fermion as a function of quark chemical potential and temperature T . We find evidence of a superfluid phase at intermediate and low T where
