We extend Lorentz-violating supersymmetry models to include vector superfields. The CPT-preserving model generalizes easily, while the obvious attempt at generalizing the CPT-violating model meets serious obstructions. Generalizations of the CPT-preserving but Lorentz-violating model to higher dimensions are also straightforward. Compactification is used to reduce the six-dimensional theory to an N=2 Lorentz-violating theory in four dimensions, while the ten-dimensional theory is used to…
Gauge field theories with Lorentz-violating operators of arbitrary dimension
The classification of Lorentz- and $CPT$-violating operators in non-Abelian gauge field theories is performed. We construct all gauge-invariant terms describing propagation and interaction in the
Lorentz-violating supersymmetric quantum field theories
We study the possibility of constructing Lorentz-violating supersymmetric quantum field theories under the assumption that these theories have to be described by Lagrangians which are renormalizable
On the anomalies in Lorentz-breaking theories
In this paper, we discuss the chiral anomaly in a Lorentz-breaking extension of QED which, besides the common terms that are present in the Standard Model Extension, includes some dimension-five
The photino sector and a confining potential in a supersymmetric Lorentz-symmetry-violating model
We study the spectrum of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Carroll–Field–Jackiw model for Electrodynamics with a topological Chern–Simons-like Lorentz-symmetry violating term. We identify a
On one-loop corrections to the CPT-even Lorentz-breaking extension of QED
In this paper, we describe the quantum electrodynamics added by Lorentz-violating CPT-even terms in the context of the standard model extension. We focus our attention on the fermion sector,
Energy positivity, non-renormalization, and holomorphy in Lorentz-violating supersymmetric theories
A bstractThis paper shows that the positive-energy and non-renormalization theorems of traditional supersymmetry survive the addition of Lorentz violating interactions. The Lorentz-violating coupling
Aspects of CPT-even Lorentz-symmetry violating physics in a supersymmetric scenario
Background fermion condensates in a landscape dominated by global supersymmetry are reassessed in connection with a scenario where Lorentz symmetry is violated in the bosonic sector (actually, the
Neutrinos with Lorentz-violating operators of arbitrary dimension
The behavior of fermions in the presence of Lorentz and CPT violation is studied. Allowing for operators of any mass dimension, we classify all Lorentz-violating terms in the quadratic Lagrange
Photon sector analysis of Super and Lorentz symmetry breaking: effective photon mass, bi-refringence and dissipation
Within the standard model extension (SME), we expand our previous findings on four classes of violations of Super-Symmetry (SuSy) and Lorentz Symmetry (LoSy), differing in the handedness of the
