Abstract The possibility of a long term evolution for tropospheric ozone, connected to a rise of anthropogenic releases, raises the question of a human climatic action. In order to bring an experimental confirmation to photochemical theories, continuous CO and O 3 measurements were started in November at the Pic du Midi observatory (3000 m altitude in the Pyrenean range).
