PROBLEM Data regarding cervical interleukin 18 (IL-8) and IL-10 concentrations during pregnancy is limited. METHOD OF STUDY This was a cross sectional study of healthy pregnant women. Specimens were collected from the cervical os secretions. IL-8 and IL-10 levels were measured by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
