Abstract In this study, a total of 180 PM 2.5 samples were collected from December 3, 2013 to October 20, 2016 in an urban area in Zhengzhou, China, and 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in PM 2.5 were analyzed. Diagnostic ratio and positive matrix factorization (PMF) were used for annual PAH source identification, and health risks and source regions of PM 2.5 -bound PAHs were also investigated.
