5 Folivorous Insects in the Rainforests of the Guianas
Unsurprisingly, insect–plant interactions in the neotropical region have been best studied where long-term taxonomic and ecological programmes exist at well-endowed research stations. In countries
Preliminary Investigations on Insect Pest Attacks in a Disturbed Evergreen Forest of South Cameroon
TLDR
In conclusion, preliminary observations provided indications that insect pests may affect the success of sustainable timber production system for natural forests, thus highlighting the need for further investigations.
Diversity and abundance of insect herbivores foraging on seedlings in a rainforest in Guyana
1. Free‐living insect herbivores foraging on 10 000 tagged seedlings representing five species of common rainforest trees were surveyed monthly for more than 1 year in an unlogged forest plot of 1
