  • Engaging students in learning is an ongoing challenge to marketing educators. This paper examines the use of a virtual third place as one way to address this challenge. Oldenburg’s concept of a “third place” is integrated with Kolb’s experiential learning cycle to understand how virtual third places enhance learning.
