Pollen quality of 5 caprifig genotypes selected in the East Mediterranean Region was determined. Triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) and fluorescent diacetat (FDA) test procedures were used in evaluating pollen viability. Germination of pollen was determined by using various concentrations of sucrose supplemented with H3BO3, KNO3 or GA3 in agar medium. Pollen production status of caprifig flowers was determined.
