Use of the Internet for patient-specific consultation across international boundaries has been demonstrated. This report describes the efforts of Baylor College of Medicine and NASA to conduct a telemedicine consultation with Moscow, Russia. Consultation between Russian and American physicians was performed over the Internet with a combination of real-time and store-and-forward techniques.
